What is Prestaining?
This is when stain and wood finishing products are applied before they are installed in a controlled environment.
Why Prestain?
Applying stain to all four sides of the wood before it is installed has proven to be much more effective than just one side after it is installed. Both the Longevity and Quality are better. Prestaining is also much more cost effective averaging less than half the cost of onsite applications
What is Texturing?
This is when unique textures are added to the wood to give it a particular look. Texture can do a lot for the look of a home. Typically 24 Grit sanded textures for a more modern look and resawn or circular sawn textures for a more rustic look.
